IQAS accreditation standards 2025 launch
15 September 2025

IQAS are launching updated accreditation standards for adult allergy services in the UK and Republic of Ireland on 1 October 2025.

These revised standards reflect our commitment to excellence in allergy services and aim to support services to improve the quality of service provided to both patients and staff through a structured accreditation framework.

You can read the full report on the standards review project here

For services working towards achieving accreditation
If you want to be assessed using the 2019 standards, you must submit your service's current self-assessment and request a site assessment by 30 November 2025; the assessment must take place by 31 March 2026.

All remaining 2019 standard self-assessments will be cancelled on 1 December 2025. For earlier cancellation, contact askIQAS@rcp.ac.uk.

For services new to accreditation, you can start an assessment on the 2025 standards from 1 October 2025.

Annual reviews or reaccreditation assessments due before 1 April 2026 will be evaluated based on the 2019 standards and criteria.
Annual reviews or reaccreditation assessments due on or after 1 April 2026 will be evaluated based on the 2025 standards and criteria.
